A clear route from preparation to the final finish.

Finishing a property involves several connected decisions: how ceilings and partitions are formed, whether surfaces need preparation, where tiles will be laid and when painting can begin. The sequence matters as much as the choice of finish.

WS Installations brings gypsum and plastering, tiling, painting and the associated building services into one conversation. You can discuss an individual trade or a wider finishing programme for a new property, refurbishment or commercial space.

Work that can fit into your scope.

01

Gypsum and plastering

Ceilings, partitions and wall preparation, with lighting positions, service access and the later finish considered together.

02

Floor and wall tiling

Tile laying for bathrooms, kitchens, interiors and external areas, with the existing surfaces and preparation assessed first.

03

Painting and final finishes

Interior and exterior painting, surface preparation and finishing work following installation or refurbishment.

Plan the work in the right order.

  1. Assess the starting point

Review the existing surfaces, unfinished areas, service installations and the rooms or elevations included in the work.

  2. Agree the sequence

Coordinate electrical and plumbing work with ceilings, plastering and tiling before the final decorative stages.

  3. Confirm finishes and boundaries

Agree materials, preparation, access and what is included, with the finishing details reviewed before handover.

Planning your next step.

Can gypsum, tiling and painting be included in one request?

Yes. Select all the services you need and explain the stage of the property so the team can review a combined scope.

Can you assess an existing tiled or painted surface?

Yes. Describe the current surface, any defects and the finish you want. Photographs are a useful starting point, and the preparation required can be assessed before work is agreed.

What is the difference between finishing work and a turnkey project?

A finishing request can cover one or more finishing trades. A turnkey scope coordinates a broader programme that can also include electrical, plumbing and the associated installation stages. The exact inclusions are agreed for each project.
